Roles and Access Control

Definition of roles and permissions

Navigation

  • Home | Config | Member Roles

Core Rules

  • Staff Members: Access most day-to-day operational programs. This role automatically includes all permissions for Sales and Residents.
  • Sales: Access to Client program
  • Residents: Access to Resident program
  • Maintenance: Unrestricted access to Maintenance program
  • Arbitrators: Unrestricted access to Case program
  • Authorised Nurse: Unrestricted access to health related programs and functions

Administrators & Supervisory Roles

  • Administrators: Grants all Staff Members permissions, plus access to Configuration and peer profiles. They can also create local custom roles (e.g., Assistant Nurse, Report Managers, Guests).
  • Supervisors: Grants all Staff Members permissions, plus the ability to override restrictions

System Restrictions

  • Inspectors: Restricts other roles by removing their ability to add or edit records
  • CRITICAL NOTES: Do not assign the Inspector role to yourself. Doing so turns your account into read-only, revokes your active permissions, and prevents you from reverting the change.

Assignment Rules

  • Role Overlap: Certain roles naturally inherit others (e.g., Staff Members include Sales and Residents)
  • Multiple Roles:Users can be assigned multiple roles simultaneously to combine permissions (e.g., a user can be both a Staff Member and an Administrator).
